I trained as a social worker, specialising in working with people with substance use issues, HIV+ and mental health problems. I have always been struck by the resources people have within themselves and how in the face of adversity that strength seems to shine through. Since 2001 I have worked training others to motivate people to make positive changes in their lives, this might be getting fit, changing a relationship or managing diabetes.
Through my own personal development from using affirmations to trying to meditate (something I still can't quite get my mind to settle to), attending talks, reading books like Love Yourself - Heal Your Life, A Course in Miracles,The Alchemist, Effortless Success, Authentic Happiness and studying natural medicine and sharing fun, laughter, tears and joy with others have fuelled the desire to create a safe, fun, ethical space for people to declutter and envigorate mind, body & spirit.
So here we are, Nat and I both keen to work with women who want to shift stuff around, shake up or settle down their lives and aiming to attract people who might not think about doing 'something like this' usually. To open hearts and minds to new or old experiences that may have got buried over a lifetime of human doing!
One love
Maj
